New this year: Breakfast is delivered to the classroom. Please talk with your student about whether or not you'd like them to eat breakfast at school. Breakfast prices are: $1.70 for full pay and $0.30 for reduced.

Wes-Del Families: Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is now open. If you need assistance, please contact the Wes-Del Middle/High School office at 358-4091, or email our Registrar, Monica Benn at: mbenn@wes-del.org Families who plan on choosing Virtual Learning for first semester of 2020-2021 still need to register and complete all paperwork. During the registration process, you will have an option to select Virtual Learning. If you select this option, an administrator or counselor will reach out to you and schedule a conference call to develop a virtual learning plan for your student. The deadline to register for the Virtual Learning option is Friday, August 7.

Due to a positive COVID-19 case among our staff, all athletic workouts for the remainder of the week are canceled. At this time we plan to resume all athletic workouts next week.

FYI: Current and new transfer students, Transfer paperwork has been reviewed by the superintendent’s office. Only transfers that were not approved will receive direct communication from the superintendent. If you have not received direct communication of a denied application, current transfer students can begin online registration on July 27th. New transfer students will need to schedule a registration appointment for July 28th or July 29th. Please call your students school to schedule. Current Warrior students may begin registering online for the 2020-2021 school year Monday, July 27th.

The 2020-2021 school year will begin as scheduled on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020. This message is for the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021: At this time, we have been informed that Wes-Del High School will not be able to host prom this year. We were hopeful to provide this opportunity for our Warriors and unfortunately I am unable to get it done due to the guidelines provided by our local health department. As you have noticed, many schools have turned the planning and implementation of a prom-like event over to parents to provide an alternative experience. Again, I am saddened by the news but excited to celebrate the Class of 2020 at their graduation on Sunday, July 12th at 3:00PM. Thank you, Mr. Perdue

Wes-Del Community Schools is taking applications for 3 open bus driver positions. A Class B CDL with school bus endorsement is preferred. Next week, we will have drop off for Chromebook(s), charger(s), and any library books you have at your home. You may also pick up school supplies in your child(ren)’s classroom(s). One adult and one child may drop off and pick up for your family. We ask that masks and gloves be worn, and everyone observes social distancing. This is to protect your family and our staff.
