The Wes-Del FCCLA had a tremendous showing at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in early March. Three students; Amelia Hudson-Roberts, Mackenzie McFalls, and Caroline Caward received gold medals for their project. Amelia qualified for the national conference, while Mackenzie and Caroline received alternates for the national conference. FCCLA sponsor Becky Fulton had this to say, "Three of our students took on the challenge of a STAR event, which meant they had to present their projects to a panel of judges, and for many kids that is intimidating. I am proud that all three Wes-Del students who took on this challenge received gold medals. This is huge!"
